Intellectual Property

The Firm is engaged in the full spectrum of intellectual property practice in the Philippines. It is involved, inter alia, in protecting patents, trademarks and copyrights and in negotiating and registering licensing and technology transfer agreements.

The Intellectual Property Department has had considerable practice in prosecuting applications and maintaining registrations before the Intellectual Property Office, as well as in pursuing civil and criminal cases involving infringement and unfair competition. It also coordinates with appropriate government agencies in obtaining and implementing search warrants for the seizure of infringing articles.

Upon the request of clients, the Intellectual Property Department monitors applications for the registration of trademarks and patents which might infringe upon their trademarks and patents.
