Alternative Dispute Resolution

The Firm is spearheading developments in the Philippines in this relatively new field of alternative dispute resolution which includes local and international arbitration. The Firm has been involved in several significant international arbitrations. The Firm has accredited mediators and arbitrators in domestic and international arbitration in the various fields of law.

The members of the Firm are familiar with the Rules of Conciliation and Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce, the International Arbitration Rules of the American Bar Association, the Arbitration Rules of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL), and the New York Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards. A member of the Firm’s Hong Kong branch is authorized to practice before the Hong Kong Arbitration Board.
