Eileen's practice deals with a broad range of transactional, corporate
and banking matters, including project finance, corporate finance, and
mergers and acquisitions. Eileen was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 1995 and the New York Bar in 1999. Practice
Eileen regularly advises many Philippine and foreign clients on
infrastructure, energy, telecommunications and privatization projects
in the Philippines, corporate restructurings, debt syndications, joint
ventures, foreign investments, derivatives transactions, and general
corporate legal requirements. Her work also includes advising and
representing Philippine and multinational banks, information technology
(hardware, software and content) and pharmaceutical companies as well
as other consumer product manufacturers on matters of contracts law,
secured transactions, corporate law, technology law, real estate law,
and applicable licensing and regulatory laws. Professional Activities
Prior to joining the firm, Eileen was a court attorney with the office
of then Supreme Court Associate Justice (now Chief Justice) Hilario
Davide Jr. Having been admitted to the New York Bar, Eileen has
also practiced law with one of the top 20 American law firms, Milbank,
Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP, in its head office in New York City,
specializing in project finance.
