Aileen Sarah Tolosa-Lerma's practice deals with mergers and acquisitions, general corporate services, and securities. She also has extensive experience in loan transactions and advising clients on investing and doing business in the Philippines.
Atty. Lerma was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 1997.

Practice
Atty. Lerma regularly renders advice to both Philippine and foreign clients on transaction and regulatory matters concerning investments in Philippine entities. Her work covers the broad range of rendering advice and assistance on the possible modes of investment, incorporation, contract drafting, licensing matters, and operation. She has represented clients before the Securities and Exchange Commission on various matters relating to establishment and maintenance of corporate vehicles, and registration of securities.
In addition, she has acted as counsel for both the seller and purchaser in local and international acquisitions and joint ventures involving various types of entities, and has extensively advised clients on mergers and dissolutions of corporations. On loan or financing transactions, she has acted on behalf of the borrower, lender, financial adviser or arranger.

Professional Activities
Concurrently, Atty. Lerma is a lecturer at the Ateneo de Manila University School of Law where she is handling courses on Persons and Family Relations and Legal Writing. She also handled courses on Partnership and Legal Forms. She has published an article in the Ateneo Law Journal on Philippine Territorial Sovereignty over its Waters.
She is a member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines.
