Known as Zaldy to his clients and friends, Atty. Mirasol specializes in Banking & Finance and heads the Corporate/ Banking Group of the Firm.
Atty. Mirasol was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 1989.

Practice
Atty. Mirasol is counsel to the major foreign banks and financial institutions in the Philippines, including Citibank, N.A., Deutsche Bank AG, The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation, ING Bank, BNP Paribas, Bank of China, and the International Finance Corporation. He also advises the Bankers Association of the Philippines and its fixed-income exchange infrastructure system, the PDS Group, composed of the Philippine Dealing & Exchange Corp., the Philippine Depository & Trust Corp., and the Philippine Securities Settlement Corp. He is also counsel to the Philippine American Life & General Insurance Company, the Philippine arm of the American International Group. He sits in the Board of Citibank Savings, Inc. and acts as Corporate Secretary of all the Citibank vehicles in the Philippines and the companies comprising the PDS Group.

Atty. Mirasol is an expert in regulatory and transactional banking and finance, providing legal advice and representation in commercial, consumer, corporate, thrift, and trust banking. He is regularly consulted on financial derivatives and structured products, securitization and asset management, compliance and risk management, foreign currency transactions, foreign loans and investments, corporate finance, collateralized lending, syndications and intercreditor arrangements, trade finance, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, capital market transactions, and bank allied undertakings.

Professional Activities
Atty. Mirasol was a full-time faculty of the Department of Philosophy of the College of Arts and Sciences of the Ateneo de Manila University from 1980 to 1990, and acted as part-time lecturer afterwards. Since 1998, he has been a faculty member of the Commercial Law Department of the Philippine Judicial Academy of the Supreme Court of the Philippines.
He is a member of the Financial Institute Executives of the Philippines.
