Practice
He is presently the partner in charge of the Labor Department of the Firm. As such, he assists employer-clients in negotiating collective bargaining agreements and represents them in disputes filed with the Department of Labor and Employment and the National Labor Relations Commission. He advises clients on the ramifications of corporate restructuring (merger, consolidations, acquisitions, etc.) vis-a-vis workers and employer rights, including its effects on the workers security of tenure and possible claims over employee benefits, both statutory and contractual as a consequence of such restructuring. He counsels clients in strike situations, on the best ways of resolving dispute through conciliation, mediation, arbitration and other non-adversarial processes encouraged by the Labor Code. He also handles labor court litigations before the Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court.

Atty. Mendoza is a member of various professional and business associations such as the Integrated Bar of the Philippines, Philippine Bar Association, Alpha Phi Beta Fraternity, University of the Philippines Law Alumni Association, Employer's Confederation of the Philippines, Personnel Management Association of the Philippines and Intellectual Property Association of the Philippines.
