Atty. Jayson Fernandez provides clients with advice on a broad range of tax-related issues as well as representation in administrative and judicial proceedings involving disputed tax assessments and claims for tax refund.

Atty. Fernandez has been with the firm since his admission to the Philippine Bar in 1996.

Practice
Atty. Fernandez regularly advises clients on the most tax efficient manner of structuring their deals in the Philippines, including the selection and funding of the appropriate investment vehicle for the Philippines, the mode of transferring or acquiring real or personal property situated in the Philippines, the availment of tax incentives and tax treaty relief, the repatriation of funds from the Philippines, and corporate reorganizations. Aside from his work with corporate clients, Atty. Fernandez also advises individuals on estate planning strategies and handles the tax aspects of estate settlements. He also assists clients in securing tax clearances and confirmatory rulings from the Bureau of Internal Revenue.

Atty. Fernandez likewise assists clients in complying with legal requirements during tax investigations, protesting deficiency tax assessments or claiming refunds before the Bureau of Internal Revenue, Bureau of Customs and various local government units. He also represents clients in cases on appeal before the Court of Tax Appeals, the Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court.
