Atty. Benjamin Z. de Leon, Jr. regularly advises many Philippine and foreign clients on intellectual property rights, administration, enforcement, and protection, and on clientsí needs on litigation, prosecution, licensing and counseling services relating to patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, to unfair business and unfair trade practices; and advises on matters relating to regulatory and transactional matters involving importations of pharmaceutical, cosmetic and food products to the Philippines which services extend to handling of administrative cases under the jurisdiction of the Intellectual Property Office (IPO), the Bureau of Food and Drugs (BFAD), the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and those relating to cases under the jurisdiction of the Bureau of Animal Industry and the Fertilizer and Pesticide Authority (FPA).

Also handles litigation cases involving property rights, contracts and obligations as well as criminal cases before the ordinary courts and land development cases before the Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board (HLURB) and regularly advises on matters pertaining to such matters.

Professional Activities
Atty.BENJAMIN Z. DE LEON, JR. has twenty- five years of experience as a litigator. Prior to joining the firm, he was a litigation lawyer with the Department of Commerce and Industry (presently known as Department of Trade and Industry) and, thereafter, with another law firm which was more inclined to involve itself in politics and political matters in line with the main interest of its main partner/owner until he joined the Firm in 1981 as a litigator and practitioner in intellectual property rights and in ordinary courts.
