Miss Angeles is our specialist for international and cross-border contracts, particularly those involving fund raising activities relating to international and local offering of notes and equity, Export Credit Agency (ECA) financing, aircraft financing and other lending arrangements, mergers & acquisitions, and infrastructure and energy transactions.
She was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 1995 and received citation from the Integrated Bar of the Philippines for receiving the tenth highest average in the 1994 Philippine Bar Examinations. Practice.

Her main area of expertise is in the field of contract law and corporate and commercial law, with extensive background in international commercial arbitration, energy & infrastructure, project finance, securities, telecommunication, corporate, real estate, mergers and acquisitions, aircraft financing, and entertainment laws. Miss Angeles, likewise, sits in the Board of Directors of various entities as Director and Corporate Secretary.
In the year 2000, she rendered legal consultancy work for The Services Group (World Bank Consultants) in relation to the privatization of Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority including the drafting of the amendments to RA 7227 and the revisions to implementing rules and regulations thereof.

Miss Angeles has been teaching Public International Law since 1995 at the Lyceum College of Law. She has likewise taught Statutory Construction and Obligations and Contracts at the Lyceum College of Law.

Professional Activities
Prior to joining the firm, she was an associate at the Salvador H. Laurel International Consultants. She also served as a technical adviser of the Philippine delegation to the 1997 Preparatory Committee Hearings on the establishment of an International Criminal Court. As technical adviser, she advised the Philippine government in the negotiations with delegates from other States in the drafting of the rules of procedure for the International Criminal Court, attendance and participation in small group meetings on specialized topics and issues relevant to the rules of procedure, including the establishment of a pre-trial chamber.
Miss Angeles is currently the Director for the Philippines of the Yale Alumni Schools Committee whose main task is to interview candidates for admissions to Yale College, New Haven, Connecticut, USA. She is likewise a member of the Yale Club of the Philippines and the Integrated Bar of the Philippines.

Education
Miss Angeles received her Masters of Law degree from Yale Law School, New Haven, Connecticut, U.S.A in 1997, Certificate of International Law from the Hague Academy of International Law, Den Haag, The Netherlands in 1996, Juris Doctor degree from Ateneo De Manila University in 1994 receiving the Second Honors Silver Medal and her Bachelor of Science in Business Economics from the University of the Philippines in 1990.

Publication
Her paper entitled “The Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia: The question of admissibility of prior recorded testimony of an adverse witness,” was published in the Lawyer’s Review, December 1997 (Part I) and January 1998 (Part II).
