Atty. Alejandro manages the Hong Kong branch of the Firm. He deals with the legal, financing and other related aspects of foreign investments in the Philippines. He also assists on the legal, financial and other business requirements of Philippine and other clients overseas.
Atty. Alejandro was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 1988 and is a Member of The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators of London since 1991.
Practice
Atty. Alejandro provides legal and business consultancy to foreign investors in the Philippines as well as to Philippine clients overseas. He advises foreign clients on the whole legal gamut of doing business in the Philippines in various fields from obtaining license and permits, registration of foreign investments, availment of tax incentives, post-incorporation reportorial and tax compliance up to repatriation of capital and profits. He likewise provides legal advice on corporate, banking, tax, finance, securities, immigration, intellectual property and labor matters apart from legal representation before Philippine courts and administrative agencies at all levels.
Atty. Alejandro has extensive experience in setting-up and structuring business and investments overseas as well as international tax and estate planning. His expertise includes giving advice on, and handling, cross-border litigation and arbitration.
Professional Activities
Atty. Alejandro is a Founding Member and Treasurer of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce of Hong Kong. He has also been a director and legal adviser of the Philippine Association of Hong Kong for more than a decade.
He renders volunteer work and provides free legal aid to indigents and various associations of overseas contract workers in Hong Kong including The Hong Kong Bayanihan Trust.
