Amanda’s practice presently deals with a broad range of transactional, corporate, securities, and banking matters, as well as commercial arbitration and litigation.

She was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2005 and received her Master of Laws degree from Columbia Law School in 2006.

Practice
Amanda has advised, prepared documentation, and negotiated for and in behalf of foreign and local clients on various corporate deals and transactions involving mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, equity and debt issuances, corporate structuring, labor issues, taxation, and regulatory matters. She has also drafted pleadings and appeared in commercial litigation and arbitration proceedings.

Professional Activities

Prior to joining the firm, Amanda interned in the Office of Legal Affairs department of the United Nations (U.N.) Headquarters in New York, USA where she worked on the U.N. Repertory of Practice on amendments and interpretations to the U.N. Charter, specifically on the non-use of force. She has also volunteered for various alternative law groups dealing with women’s rights and environmental law.

She has also attended seminars and lectures in the Practicing Law Institute in New York on Initial Public Offerings, Securities Laws, and Drafting Corporate Agreements.
